Chuck was born on July 12, 1953 in Houma, LA. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Lorre Bourgeois Autin, his son James Charles "Chip" Autin, III (companion Kristen Selby), his daughter Tiffany Autin Waters(husband Bryan), and his six grandchildren, Hunter, Ethan, Caleb, Adelynn, Kimber, and Koen. He is also survived by his sisters, Gretchen Autin Yancey (husband Jimmy), Holly Autin Vinson (husband Joe), and brothers, Daniel C. Autin and Gibson J. Autin, III. He was preceded in death by his father, J. C. Autin, Sr. and his mother, Dorothy Ledet Autin. Chuck was a lifelong resident of Houma, LA, who worked for many years in the food industry with his parents. He was the owner of Autin's Quality Sewerage System. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Raleigh. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, as well as a wonderful brother. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and a great cook. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and church family. He always made people laugh and was loved by everyone who knew him. Chuck's family takes joy in knowing that he is now with his Lord and Savior, JESUS CHRIST. Service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 10:00am at House of Prayer, 2229 Hwy 3185, Thibodaux, LA 70301. Church will be open at 9:00am.
