Audrey Mae Poindexter Barrow, 70, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of 
Gibson, died at 4:10 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, April 18, at New 
Vision Family Worship Center. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at 
the church, 

with burial in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. 

She is survived by her husband, William Barrow III; daughter, Dana Marie Barrow 
Holmes (Thadius), of Thibodaux; sisters, Margaret Burrell (Lionel), of Baton 
Rouge, Ethel Sims (Sterling), of Chauvin, and Aldrenia Wesley, of Gray; 
brothers, Lawrence Poindexter (Gladys), of Clearwater, Florida, Melvin 
Poindexter (Ruby), of Gibson, Larry Poindexter (Doris), of LaPlace, and Calvin 
Poindexter (Patricia), of Gibson; two grandchildren; and one great-
granddaughter. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lillian Rollins 
Poindexter; and son, Dexter Barrow. 

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
