Rickie Joseph Blanchard, 59, a native of Chauvin and a resident of Midland, TX, 
died Monday, April 13, 2015.

Visitation will be Friday, April 17, 2015 from 6pm to 9pm and Saturday, April 
18, 2015 from 8am to 10am at St. Ann Parish Hall in Bourg.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 10am at St. Ann 
Catholic Church in Bourg.

Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Bourg.

Survived by
Wife- Jan Blanchard
Mother- Rosalie Lapeyrouse
Daughter- Jessica Vincent and husband Raymond Bourg
Brothers- Elgin Blanchard and wife Bonnie, and Michael Blanchard and wife 
Michelle
Sisters- Melinda Duplantis and husband Patrick, and Alicia Pellegrin and 
husband Sam
Grandchildren- Triston Vincent, Tayler Vincent, and Audrey Rose Bourg

Preceded in death by
Father- Roy Blanchard
Mother in law- Audrey Martin
Father in law- Oneil "Blue" Martin
Son in law- Randy Vincent, Jr.

In life, he was a commercial fisherman, who loved the bayou and outdoors. He 
spent his time hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. 
Rickie was a great husband, father, and grandfather. His generosity knew no 
bounds. He will be greatly missed and his death is a true loss to all that knew 
him.
