He was a native of Raceland, LA and resident of Bayou Blue, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21,2015 from 6:00 pm. until 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Billgren Bourgeois, Bayou Blue, LA daughters: Nicole Bourgeois Emerson (Timothy), Michele Bourgeois Dantin (Tris), Andrea Bourgeois Rogers (Chuck) grandchildren: Emily, David Emerson, Shawn Heck, Brandy Williams, Rhett, Kate Dantin, Tyler Barbier, Brennan, Ryan and Jenna Rogers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile Joseph and Annis Hebert Bourgeois He was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church. Billy was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and friends. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp and was an avid marksman. He was the successful owner of Partek Laboratories, Inc. He never met a stranger and was kind, fair, and generous to everyone. He will be forever missed.
