Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2015/f1504.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Minnie Agnes Coffman, 88, a native of Gordo, Alabama, and resident of Houma, died at 7:25 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2015. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with a private burial by the family at a later date. She is survived by her daughter, Mickey Pellegrin and husband, Roger Dale Pellegrin; grandchildren, Mindy Kreller and husband, Mike Kreller II, Tiffany Seale and husband, Justin Seale, and Jason Pitre and companion, Jesse Wilson; 10 great-grandchildren; and extended family, Brooks Pellegrin and wife, Jan Pellegrin, Michelle Pellegrin and husband, Larry Lugo, Tammy Duplantis and husband, Kent Duplantis, and Lori LeBouef Pellegrin. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Waymond Louis Coffman; parents, Grover Poole and Viola Burkhalter Poole; and sisters, Sarah Graham, Lottie Dees, Bobbie Richards and Virginia Poole. Gratitude and thanks to the Homestead. This is a home away from home for a loved one. Love and thanks to all of Mom's friends at the Homestead. The family would like to thank the entire caring and compassionate staff of the Homestead. Many thanks to the staff of CCU, Four North and Respiratory at TGMC for their excellent care. Many thanks for being introduced to Haydel Memorial Hospice. This was the most uncomplicated process for Mom in her final days. The family would like to give special thanks to Patti Voss, who is an exceptional person. Mom's final days were a peaceful easy experience. Last but not least, thanks goes to Dr. Hellman for taking care of Mom for all these years. For everyone who knew Mom, Minnie, I hope she left a smile upon your face, for she sure did mine.
