He was a native of Montegut but resided in Bourg, LA until 2001 and resident of Port Orchard, WA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Monday, April 27, 2015 from 8:00 AM until service time at St. Ann Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church. Burial will be held in Bisland Cemetery. He is survived by his, sons, Michael Joseph Hebert and wife, Shirlene of Montegut, LA, Carol Joseph Hebert and wife, Valerie of Port Orchard, WA, and Wallace "Jay" Joseph Hebert, Jr. of Port Orchard, WA; grandchildren, Kevin J. Hebert and wife, Tracey, and Kellie S. Cantrelle and husband, Robbie all of Montegut, LA, and Angelina T.K. and Casandra L.F. Hebert both of Port Orchard, WA; 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his, Wife of 47 years, Loise Theresa LeBouef Hebert; parents, William Joseph Sr. and Lucy Matherne Hebert; son, Ronald Joseph Hebert; brothers, George, Herman and Howard Hebert; sisters, Emily Darcey, Felicie Foret, Hosanna Gross and Rosabelle Hebert; grandson, Travis J. Hebert. He was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. He was a tug boat captain and a self employed commercial fisherman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking and dancing. Especially the Cajun French music. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed dearly by family and friends ======================
