Mildred Marie Talbot Melancon, 91, a native of Labadieville, LA and resident of 
Thibodaux, LA, passed away peacefully at home on April 6, 2015 at 6:00 am.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at 
St. Genevieve Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 
11:00 am at the church 

followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Gary Melancon and wife Mary Lee; daughter, 
Geraldine “Deannie” Eusea and husband Gary “Zeke”; grandchildren, Tim Buckley, 
Melissa Melancon, Michelle Scarborough, Dawn Massey, Dereck Melancon, and 
Brandon Melancon;14 great-grandchildren;7 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Whitney Talbot and Henriette Rousseau 
Talbot; sons, Michael H. Melancon and Mark A. Melancon; great-great-grandson, 
Jordan J. Savoie.

Retired from Nicholls State University as a Housemother of Mead Hall.
