Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 8:30 AM till funeral time at St. Joseph Co Cathedral in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM at the church. She will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery. She is survived by her husband Clifford J. Naquin Jr.; children, Leslie Morgan and husband Floyd, Lynn Naquin Sr. and wife Denise, Lorraine Bourgeois and husband Mark, Lisette Washispack and husband Quentin, Lona Bernard and husband Jimmy; brother, Odis LeCompte; sister, Leah Use’; grandchildren, Lynn Naquin Jr., Clint Naquin, Laban Bourgeois, Emily Bourgeois, Trent Naquin, Emmanuel Morgan, Abby Washispack, Hannah Hall, Hope Washispack, Lance Morgan, Seth Washispack, Natalie Bernard, Daniel Morgan, Caleb Bourgeois, Christian Bernard, Ethan Washispack, Simon Bourgeois, great grandchildren, Brennon Naquin, Maddie Naquin, Jolie Naquin, Cooper Bourgeois, Emmi Naquin, Bailey Bourgeois She is preceded in death by her parents, Roosevelt LeCompte Sr. and Celeste Bergeron LeCompte; son, Lanny Naquin; brothers, Roosevelt LeCompte Jr. and Jacob LeCompte; sister, Mercedes Duplantis; grandchildren, Joseph Anthony Bourgeois and Celeste Mary Bourgeois She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She had a passion for gardening, cooking, making puzzles, reading and was an exceptional seamstress. She had a special gift of remembering family dates which included anything from anniversaries to birthdays and also enjoyed genealogy. She lived a life of faith which was evident by her love for her family and friends. She had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She enjoyed reading the Bible daily and had scriptures posted all over her home. She never knew a stranger and was always generous with words of encouragement and concern. She was a wonderful homemaker and will be dearly missed. The family would like to thank the staff and residents at St. Joseph Manor for their care, kindness and friendship over the past two years of her life.
