A visitation will be held in her honor at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Thibodaux, La. on Monday, April 13, 2015 from 8:30am until funeral time. The Rosary will be recited at 9:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church cemetery in Thibodaux. She is survived by her sons, Camile J. Richard, Jr. and wife Joan, Jerome C. Richard and wife Linda, David P. Richard , Ralph A. Richard and wife Lynn; daughters, Louella R. Knight and husband Alfred, Linda R. Plaisance, Julie R. Clement, Christine R. Melancon and companion Lane Toups and daughter-in-law Cheryl P. Richard. She is survived by 25 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sister, Marguerite K. Zeringue. Louella's special caretakers were Christine, Foye, Brandi, Taylor, Crystal and Claire as well as her special companions Lucy and Molly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Camile J. "Britch" Richard, Sr.; son, Kenneth J. Richard; grandaughter, Sarah Richard; parents, Demet and Adele Toups Knobloch; siblings, Milton, Denis, Demet Jr., Irene K. Waguespack and Fay K. Richard. Louella, "Maw Maw Lou", as she was affectionately known to many, was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies Alter Society and the Vocation Support Group. Louella loved 4-H, flowers, sewing and cooking. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Rev. Michael Manase and the staff of St. Charles Borromeo, Rev. Charles Perkins and the staff of St. Mary's Nativity and the staff of Journey Hospice, especially Linda Joseph and Deacon Brent Bourgeois. ======================
