Ruth Melancon Richardel, 87, a native and resident of Larose, LA, passed away 
on Saturday, April 11, 2015.

Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 
Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Larose, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 
celebrated at 11:30 AM Wednesday 

with burial to follow in Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery, Larose.

She is survived by her daughters; Paula Pierce and husband Wayne, Mary 
Thibodeaux and husband Ronnie, Martha Bourg and husband Chris; grandchildren, 
Angela Gisclair, Tommy Pierce, Jim Thibodeaux, Anna Mare Cabirac, Ron 
Thibodeaux, Amy Guidry, Jenny Arceneaux, Justin Bourg; 17 great grandchildren 
and sister, Bobbie Melancon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence J. Richardel; parents, 
Joseph and Mary Jane Richoux Melancon; step mother, Flavie G. Melancon and 
sister, Joanna Bourgeois.

Special thanks to the staff of H.L. Haydel Memorial Hospice and The Suites at 
Sugar Mill for their excellent care of Ruth and her family.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to H.L. Haydel Memorial Hospice or 
Holy Rosary Catholic School in Larose, LA.
