In loving memory of Barbara Ogden Vinet, 84, a loving wife, mother, grandmother 
and great-grandmother who was born Oct. 15, 1930, and passed away Wednesday, 
April 15, 2015. 

Barbara will be missed by all and was buried Saturday, April 18, by her 
husband, Raymond Charles Vinet Sr. in St. Bridget's Church Cemetery in 
Schriever. 

She is survived by her children, Raymond Charles Vinet Jr. married to Jennifer, 
Denise A. Vinet married to Rodney K. Dotson, John C. Vinet married to Cheryl, 
Thomas O. Vinet married to Georgie Vinet, Andre Vinet married to Sue Vinet, and 
Camille Vinet House and husband, Richard House; grandchildren, Steven Vinet, 
Gregory Vinet, Jacob Meade Dugas (predeceased), Evan Vinet, Morgan Vinet, 
Brigette Vinet, Amanda Vinet, Sean House and Sara House; and great-
grandchildren, Sean Domingue, Sage Domingue and Lilly Grace Vinet. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Charles Vinet; and parents 
Percy and Ruby Ogden. 

Barbara was a mother who cared deeply for her children. She was a wonderful 
cook and loved preparing delicious meals for her husband, children and their 
friends. She also loved fishing and won first place in the Red Fish Rodeo in 
Golden Meadow in the 1980s. 
She was an avid LSU fan and watched as she put it "my Tigers" play football and 
baseball and had never missed a game since 1960. 

Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
