Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday, May 14, at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma. Liturgy of the Word will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with burial in Holy Savior Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Sherman Hebert and wife, Susan, and Barry Barrett and wife, Shannon; daughters, Elaine Guidry and husband, Floyd Sr., Deborah Authement and late husband, Valdia Adams, and Faye Weeks; brothers, Roy Boudreaux and companion, Annette, and Earl Boudreaux and wife, Mary Belle; grandchildren, Crystal Cole, Floyd Guidry Jr., Kevin Guidry, Paul Weeks, Sharon Owens, Tanya Adams, Mikalah Barrett and Shaun Hebert; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Marice William "Bill" Barrett; first husband, Freddie Sanders Hebert; parents, Emile Boudreaux and Bridget Boudreaux; brother, Atlas Boudreaux; and sister, Verna Naquin. Leona was a great cook and enjoyed having her family over for dinners. She was a wonderful cook and it was the best. She loved to listen to her brothers play music and sing. She loved her children, grandchildren and family and was always delighted to spend time with them. She loved visiting with her friends at Heritage Manor. She loved to get her hair done by her family. Leona will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements. ======================
