Linda Roop Bergeron, 62, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015. 
She was a longtime resident of Houma and resided in Mineral Wells, Texas. 

She was born in Midland, Texas, June 18, 1952. 

A private graveside service will be held for immediate family. A memorial 
service will be at noon Saturday, May 30, at Community Light Fellowship, 
formerly Abundant Life A/G, 300 Tabernacle St., Whitt, Texas, 76490. 

She is survived by her children, Jason W. Bergeron and wife, Angelle Bergeron, 
and Theresa Bergeron Song and husband, Jae Song; father, the Rev. Franklin 
Roop; sister, Sharon Roop Warren and husband, David Warren; brother, the Rev. 
Phillip Roop and wife, Denise Roop; grandchildren, Zach Boudreaux, Henry Song, 
Madalyn and Aiden Robichaux; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended 
family who she loved dearly. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Madderra Roop. 

The family would like to thank everyone who sent their love and prayers. She 
will be greatly missed. Thanks goes to VITAS Hospice for their sincere concern 
and loving care. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American 
Cancer Society in her name.
