Audrey Rita Brunet, 88, a native and resident of Houma, died at 6:30 p.m. 
Thursday, May 28, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday, June 1, at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the 
church, 

with burial in the church cemetery. 

She is survived by her sons, Acklin Brunet and wife, Elsie, Angelo Brunet Jr. 
and wife, Claudia, Floyd Brunet and wife, Peggy, and Allen Brunet; daughters, 
Dale Brunet Hebert, Beuleh Brunet, Lisa Brunet Whitten and husband, John; 
brother, Junius Vito; 30 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and seven 
great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Angelo Joseph Brunet Sr.; parents, 
Andre Joseph Vito and Daisy Vito; son, Christopher Brunet; daughter, Daisy 
Gouvia; great-grandson, Shawn Foret; and brothers, Paul and Rosalis Vito. 

Audrey was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing 
bingo, dancing and doing the jitter bug. She was a kind hearted woman who 
helped many people who's paths she crossed. 

Audrey will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
