A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Monday with burial to follow in St. Mary's nativity Catholic Church cemetery in Raceland. She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Lloyd Danos. Loving mother to Weldon (Kayla), Marcus (Janet), Rawl, Margaret (Daniel "Pooney") Rhodes Jr, Dana Dufrene and fiancé Kevin Menard, Carla (Prentice) Pace. Loving grandmother to 7 grandsons, Gerard Danos, Marc Danos, Derek Dufrene, Dillon Rhodes, Brandon Dufrene, Chandler Rhodes, Prentice "Riley" Pace; 2 granddaughters Ashley Boudreaux and Brittany Danos; 2 great grandsons Beau and Benjamin Danos, step granddaughter Amanda (Josh) Williams, step great granddaughter Coley Miller and step great grandsons Hayden and Bryer Williams, foster grandchildren Davianna and Bentlee. Loving godmother to Robert Danos, sister to Elizabeth (Betty) Richie, Patrick "Roney" Woodall and John O'Neal Woodall and her beloved dog Angel. She was preceded in death by her parents Sidney W. and Delaney Roney Woodall Sr, sister Charlotte "Jean" Marabella and brothers Sidney (Bubba) Woodall Jr and Charles Mason (Buster) Woodall. Frances was born in Colfax and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. She graduated from Byrd High School and Northwestern State University with a degree in Education. Frances was a 1st runner up in the Miss Shreveport pageant her senior year, and went on the Dudley LeBlanc Hadacol Caravan Railroad Tour with Mickey Rooney, Carmen Miranda and several other movie stars. Frances was a very talented pianist, organist, teacher, and seamstress. She was a prior member of the Catholic Daughters. She loved to paint carousel horses and sold them through her business Carousel Fantasies by Frances. She loved to cook, sew, shop, go to the casino and dance in our daddy's arms. She had a love for life, and loved spending time with her family and friends. She previously taught at Holy Savior and for the Lafourche Parish Public School System. The family would like to give special thanks to Julie Prince, friend and caregiver to Frances.
