Jimmie K. Franks, 79, a native of Jonesboro, AR and a resident of Houma, LA, 
passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2015.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Monday, May 18, 2015 and from 
8:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Falgout Funeral Home, 211 
Westside Blvd. Houma, LA. Religious services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at 
Falgout Funeral Homes Chapel 

with burial to follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Gray, LA.

He is survived by his sons Larry Anthony Franks (Trudy), James Kevin Franks 
(Peggy); daughter Cheryl Benson (Lance); grandchildren Tara, Jessica, Chesley, 
Lauren, Heidi, Shelly, LeAnn, Christen, Kyle, Brett and Nathan; great 
grandchildren Hailey, Caleb, Kennedy, Hayden, Landyn, Violet and Carter; and 
sister Faye Williams.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane Franks; parents Charlie and 
Gertrude Franks; brothers Bill, Charles T., Bobby Ray and sisters, Dorothy, 
Haley and Margie.

Jimmie retired with a distinguished career as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air 
Force. He enjoyed riding his Harley Trike with his wife and eating seafood.
