Sebby was a 43 year employee of the Texas Pipeline Company upon his retirement in 1983. He was a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Army Aircorps from 1943 to 1945. He was stationed in the Pacific Marianas Islands with the 20th U.S. Air Force, 52nd Bomber Squadron. Sebby selflessly gave to the church and community of Bourg. He was a faithful servant of the Lord as Lector, Commentator, Eucharistic Minister and the Catholic Charity Program at St. Ann Church. He was blessed with the gift of voice, singing for many weddings and funerals. Sebby also gave back to his community by coordinating with the council on Aging and the Meals on Wheels Program for the elderly in Bourg. His home serves as its home base still today. Sebby love spending time at the camp, his home away from home in Grand Isle, where he enjoyed recreational trawling and crabbing. Above all of these he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a loyal friend and never met a stranger. He will forever live within our hearts. His family meant everything to him. Special thanks goes to Haydel Hospice and Dr. Brian Matherne. Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements. US Air Corps ======================
