He was a native of Montegut, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18, 2015 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 9:00am to 11:30am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 12:00pm at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Marie Matherne LeBoeuf; sons, David LeBoeuf, Sr. and wife Lynn and Jerome LeBoeuf and wife Sandra, of Houma; daughters, Roxanne Breaux, Jayne Usie and husband Euia, Denise Dryden and husband Fritz, and Jackie Gonsoulin and husband Jon, all of Houma; grandchildren, Lauran Hihar and husband Maro; Courtney Adams and husband Stacy; John Breaux, Jr.; Jamie Usie; Shelley Usie; Casey Braud and husband Tony; Jennifer Bent and husband Jason; Alayna Giles and husband Todd; Lindsey Champagne and husband John; David LeBoeuf, Jr,; Ryan LeBoeuf and wife Katie; Brooke LeBoeuf; Elizabeth LeBoeuf; Jacob LeBoeuf; Katie Gonsoulin; and Richard Gonsoulin II; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Reggie LeBoeuf, and sister Theresa Detillier. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theophile LeBoeuf and Hazel Dupre LeBoeuf; brothers, Essie LeBoeuf, Thaddeus LeBoeuf, Abel LeBoeuf, Ernest LeBoeuf, and Joe LeBoeuf; and sister, Dorothy Detiller. He was a member/parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He retired after a career in sales and founded Dave's Cajun Kitchen and Catering. He enjoyed clock-making and specialty woodworking. The family would like to thank his caregivers, including Haydel Memorial Hospice, the nurses of 4-South and CCU at Terrebonne General Medical Center, Dr. Brian Matherne and the Family Doctor Clinic, and Dr. Gregory Maidoh.
