A visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Schriever from 8:30 AM until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in St. Bridget Catholic Church cemetery in Schriever. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gale Pennison LeBoeuf; son, Kevin "Pete" LeBoeuf and wife, Beryl of Thibodaux; daughter, Kara LeBoeuf Thibodaux and husband, Shane of Thibodaux; granddaughters, Karen Dufrene, Erica LeBoeuf, Kaylee and Meagan Thibodaux; great-granddaughter, Kate Dufrene. He is also survived by his sisters, Dorothy Bonvillain, Delores Papa, and Joyce Billelo; and brothers, Gerald and Kerry LeBoeuf. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Elodie Arceneaux LeBoeuf; and nephew, Arthur Bonvillain. He was a very dedicated and giving husband, father, and grandfather. He deeply loved them. James was a devout Christian who attended daily mass as often as he could. The family wishes to thank Dr. Russell Henry for the tireless efforts to try to get James well and also to all of the nurses in CCU at Terrebonne General who worked long hours to take care of him.
