Rose Ann Himel Ledet also known to many as Ruth, passed away on May 16, 2015 
surrounded by her family at the age of 88. 
She was a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at St. Charles Borromeo 
Catholic Church in Thibodaux from 9:00 AM until funeral time. A Mass of 
Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM 

with burial to follow in St. Mary Nativity Catholic Cemetery in Raceland, LA.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Clarence Ledet; daughters, Suzanne 
Breaux and husband Ricky, Nancy Boudreaux, and Mary Prosperie and husband 
Bryan; grandchildren, Ricky Breaux, Jr., Kristy Breaux, Elmo Boudreaux III, 
Jamie Ledet, Becky Prosperie, and Bryan Prosperie, Jr., great grandchildren, 
Reese and Max Brupbacher, Angelyn Boudreaux, Jacey and Alexis Kane, and Hanson 
Breaux; and sisters, Grace Himel Siracuse and Gertrude Himel Benoit.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Honore' and Cecile Thibodaux Himel; 
son-in-law, Elmo Boudreaux, Jr.; brothers, Wilbert Himel and Norris Himel; and 
sisters, Pearl Himel McDonald and Bernice Himel Thompson.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at St. Joseph 
Hospice, especially Joanna Benoit, Tinery Greene, and Shonda Ross. They would 
also like to express their gratitude towards Mrs. Agnes Wright and the many 
sitters for their dedication in helping the family throughout their loved one's 
long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
