Joseph "Joey" Daniel McIntire, 59, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died 
Saturday, May 30, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday, June 3, at St. 
Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. 
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesdays at the church, 

with burial in St. Joseph cemetery in Thibodaux. 

He is survived by his mother, Bessie Rita Marcello McIntire; brother, Johnny 
McIntire Jr.; sister, Gerry McIntire Prejean and husband, Buddy Prejean; 
nephews, Johnny McIntire III, Jared McIntire and Trey Prejean; nieces, Meggie 
and Maria Prejean; and aunts, Mary Marcello Raynal and Rosalie Marcello. 

He was preceded in death by his father, John Tarleton McIntire Sr.; and 
grandparents, Joseph Marcello and Blanche Rizzo Marcello, and Daniel McIntire 
and Clysse Tarleton McIntire. 

Joey was a kind person who had a loving heart. Cooking for his family and 
friends was the joy of his life. 
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and will be remembered for that 
great big smile that was such a part of him. 

The family would like to express sincere gratitude to everyone for the support 
shown through this most difficult time. 
We appreciate all of the love demonstrated and prayers offered. 

In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial donations may be made in his name to the 
Assisi Bridge House or Lafourche Arc. 

Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
