Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday, May 13, at Falgout Funeral Home. A prayer service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Eloi Cemetery. She is survived by her daughters, Diane Dies Breaux and Desiree Posey; sons, Jimmy Dies (Lisa) and Simon and Lucas Fontenot; stepdaughters, Margaret Wilson (Benjamin), Elaine Holley (Hoppy) and Susan Karlen (John); stepsons, Steven (Kristina), John (Vergenia) and Richard (Diana) Molitor; sisters, Peggy Boudreaux (Robert) and Marian Vega (Sidney); brother, Cyprien Barras (Patsy); daughter-in-law, Lee Anne Dies; grandchildren, Jesse (Jennifer) and Michelle Dies, Amy Tauzin (Zac), Miranda Trahan (Andy), Candi Dies, Tanya Allen (Terry), Christel Grow (Rocky), Wendy Adams (Jimmy), Shelly Posey, Lacey Michaels (Joe), Kristi Hebert (Alex), Joe and Lexie Fontenot; 21 great-grandchildren; 13 step- grandchildren; 21 step-great-granchildren; and two step-great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Molitor; son, David Dies; parents, Whitney and Louise Barras; and son-in-law, Joe Breaux. Gladys loved cats, garage sales and shiny jewelry.
