She was a native of Chauvin and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, May 15, 2015 at 11:00 AM until funeral time at St. Joseph Catholic Church. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Chauvin, LA. She is survived by her, husband of 63 years, Elmore Joseph Nelton, Sr.; sons, Elton J. Nelton and wife, Danette, Steve J. Nelton, Sr., Leeray J. Nelton, Sr. and wife, Dolly, Elmore J. Nelton, Jr. and wife, Tina, and Lloyd J. Nelton, Sr. and wife, Grace; sisters, Janelle S. Voison and husband, Carol Sr., Gloria S. Neal and husband, Hewitt "Nome", Eva May S. Roberts and husband, Roy, Annalee S. Authement, Genieve S. Bourg, and Betty S. Boque; 19 Grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her, parents, Onazip and Agnes Hebert Sevin; brothers, Nac Sr., Norris and Henry Sr. Sevin; sister, Zoe S. Beams; daughter- in-law, Jane L. Nelton; grandsons, Leeray Jr. and Tommy Nelton. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She spent most of her life on the water making a living with her loving husband. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, live stock and cooking. She was loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all.
