Visitation will be from 6-10 p.m. Monday, June 1, at Thibodaux Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday, June 2, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Deanna Tardiff Pierron Oncale; children, Susan Pierron Cortez and husband, Kevin, Kim Oncale Pitre, Stacey Oncale Evans and husband, Scott, Amy Oncale Storey and husband, Chris, and Jodie Oncale Vicknair and husband, Joshua; brothers, Anthony Jr. and Ronald Oncale; sister, Georgana Oncale Ledet; grandchildren, Alison Cortez Borne, Jacob Cortez, Donavan Pitre, Sara Pitre LaChico, Luke James Storey, Jenna Elizabeth Vicknair, Abbie Carol Evans, Jonah Scott Evans, Josie Mae Vicknair, Molly Lauren Evans and Jason Joshua Vicknair; and great-grandchildren, Morgan Clare Borne, McKinley Lea Borne and Carson Joseph Borne. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Oncale Sr. and Doris Stevan Oncale; granddaughter, Jessa Mae Vicknair; and sister-in-law, Gertie Oncale. Robert was a barber for 50 years and the owner of LaRoDan's Barber Shop. He was a fireman in Thibodaux Fire Company One for 50 years, receiving an award for Fireman of the Year, and was a member of the Rescue Squad. He was Chairman at the Auction Stand at the Thibodaux Fireman's Fair. He loved fishing, hunting and going to the camp. He also enjoyed cooking and having his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren around him. Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
