Howard Parfait, 58, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died 
Sunday, May 31, 2015. 

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday, June 4, at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma 
and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Friday, June 5, at Holy Family Catholic 
Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, 

with burial in Holy Family Catholic Church cemetery. 

He is survived by his spouse, Dotti Massey Parfait; son, Shawn Elliot Parfait 
and companion, Kim; daughters, Tiffany Parfait Reed and husband, Chris, Heather 
Elizabeth Parfait, Tracey Lynn Hymel, Michelle Hymel and Elizabeth Rivere and 
husband, Garrett; brothers, Merlin and wife, Cristy, Kevin, Raymond and wife, 
Tanya, Julian and wife, Nicole, and Adrian Parfait and wife, Autumn; sisters, 
Ramona Gregoire and husband, Norman, Carolyn Dion and husband, Clyde, Mary Luke 
and husband, Ennid, Marilyn Champagne and Miranda Jeblonski and husband, 
Joseph; grandchildren, Katie and Lauren Authement, Blaze, Blair, Bryant, Olivia 
and Kennedy Parfait, Kayla Guadet, Dakota, Briana, Maison and Matthew Rivere, 
Arial, Alexis and Alanah Perera; and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jean Baptiste Howard Parfait and Marie 
Solet Parfait; and brother, Steven Parfait. 

Howard was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church and a member of the 
United Houma Nation. He was a great man who loved his family and his extended 
family. He was a very loyal New Orleans Saints fan and he loved his music. 

Howard was loved and respected by everyone he worked with and who knew him. He 
will be greatly missed and always and forever remembered by all who were 
fortunate enough to be in his life. Gone but never forgotten; always in our 
hearts. 

Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
