Burleigh Joseph Ruiz, 85, died Monday, May 11, 2015. 
He was a native of Belle Alliance, LA and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 11:00am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

He is survived by his, Loving wife sixty-three years: Molly Ruiz, Son: Kendall Ruiz and wife Cynthia, Sister: Ethel Webre, Sister-in-Law: Patsy Ruiz, 

He was preceded in death by his Parents: Alfred Ruiz and Elnola Rivette Ruiz, Son: Stephen Ruiz, Brothers: Alfred Ruiz Jr., Horace Ruiz, Roland Ruiz, Warren Ruiz, Herbert "Hawkshaw" Ruiz, Brothers-in-Law: Harry LeBoeuf and Carrol Webre, Sisters: Gladys LeBoeuf, Sister-in-Law: Ruth Ruiz,

He was a member/parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

He was a member of the War Museum of Houma, a past member of the United Veterans League, Knights of Columbus at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary in Houma LA, and American Legion Post 272
