William "Bill" Runnels Sr., 68, a native and resident of Houma, passed away 
Tuesday, May 26, 2015. 

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday, May 29, and from 9 a.m. until funeral time 
Saturday, May 30, at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. A military service will be 
at noon Saturday at the funeral home. 

He is survived by his sons, Billy Runnels and wife, Jennifer, and Beau Runnels; 
daughter, Gina Runnels; grandchildren, Hunter, Haven, Alex and Jaice; great-
grandchildren, Fisher, Laken, Finn and Dio; and sister, Janet "Chickie" Marcel. 

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brandy Lee Runnels; parents, Joseph 
and Cecile Runnels; and brother, Tommy Runnels. 

Bill was a member of the Forgotten Warriors and Houma Hogs Chapter. He was a 
U.S. Navy Vietnam War veteran where he was a Gunners Mate Second Class. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with 
funeral expenses. 

Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
