Doris L. Savoie, 90, a native and resident of Larose, passed away Monday, May 
25, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until funeral time Friday, May 29, at Holy 
Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:30 
p.m. Friday at the church, 

with burial in Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery in Larose. 

She is survived by her sons, Brent Savoie and wife, Kathy, and Dale Savoie and 
wife, Barbara; daughter, Anne Cheramie; half-brother, Burke Landry; half-
sister, Loisel Landry; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two 
great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney E. Savoie; son-in-law, Mike 
Cheramie; parents, A. Landry and Dorothy F. Dressel; stepfather, Sidney 
Dressel; and half sister, Hazel Pigg. 

Doris was a member of the Larose Senior Citizens. 

Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
