Jerred Steve Shackelford, 29, a native and a resident of Houma, died Saturday, 
May 30, 2015. 

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. 

He is survived by his wife, Kirsten Lapeyrouse Shackelford; father, Stevie 
Shackelford; stepmother, Melissa Shackelford; sons, Kaysen and Karsen 
Shackelford and Maison Naquin; daughters, Alexia Naquin and McKenzie Naquin; 
sister, Bria Shackelford Dean; grandparents, Roland and Beverly Cotton; and his 
"Pete" Preston Guidry and Nanny Arlene Guidry. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bridget Shackelford; grandmother, 
Maggie Shackelford; and mother and father-in-law, Rhonda and Brian Dore'. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Samart Funeral Home to 
assist with funeral expenses. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
