Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, May 30, at Word of Deliverance Church in Raceland. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday day at the church, with burial in Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Pastor Clyde Thomas; sons, Jerimiah and Marcus Thomas; daughters, Tracie, Latisha and Dana Thomas; brothers, Kennedy (Phyllis) Washington, Albert (Verley) Washington Jr., Samuel Washington, Johnell Washington and Bruce Washington; sisters, Gladys Dorsey, Agnes (Morris) Charles and Jane Coleman; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosie and Albert Washington Sr.; brothers, Horace, Phillip, Melvin and Russell Washington; and sister, Joan Rose Sylvester.
