Wanda Ruth Trahan, 74, a native and resident of Houma, died Thursday, May 28, 
2015. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, May 30, at St. 
Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 
a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery II. 

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Roy Joseph Trahan; daughter-in-law, 
Tammie Trahan; brothers, W. Dennis McCarty; sisters, Gail Jaccuzzo and JoAnn 
Leonard and husband, Paul; and grandchild, Brooke Trahan. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Henry McCarty and Ruth 
McCarty; and son, Jerry "J.T." Trahan. 

Wanda was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. 

The family would like to thank Dr. Dupont, Dr. Wade, Bayou Home Care and 
Terrebonne General Medical Center. 

 Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
