Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 8, at Vision Christian Center in Bourg. He is survived by his wife and sweetheart of 51 years, Delores Boudreaux Trosclair; sons, Roger Trosclair and wife, Donna, and Jerome Trosclair; daughters, Cynthia Christen and husband, John, Jennifer Dolese and husband, Ronnie, and Mary Legendre and husband, Donny; grandchildren, Johnathon Christen, Krystal Trosclair, Devon and Kenneth Jacobs, John Christen, Karli Jacobs, Kaitlyn and Ryan Trosclair, Jayce Bourg, Kristopher Trosclair and Kason Legendre; great-grandchildren, Kailei and Addison Bergeron, Kadence Jacobs, Ella and Hayes Olsen; brothers, James "Dick" and Lawrence Trosclair; sisters, Zelthia Lebouef and Jane Pellegrin; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julien and Mary Trosclair; son, Rickey "Dock" Trosclair; brothers, Joseph "T.B." Sr. and Johnny "Rudy" Trosclair Sr.; and sisters, Ruth "Babylon" Aucoin and Ezella "Chippy" Luke. Eugene was a pastor to many and enjoyed spreading the word of God. He was known to be generous, hardworking, and would go out of his way to help others in need. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was fishing, hunting, cutting grass or building things with his hands. Eugene will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. ======================
