Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Sunday, May 31, at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday, June 1, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Chacahoula. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in St. Lawrence Catholic Church cemetery in Chacahoula. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Wayne Morris Vilcan; son, Brady John and wife, Vicky Landry Vilcan, of Houma; daughters, Daphnie and husband, Gary "Dino" Domino, of Houma, and Mona and husband, Shahar Farooq, of San Jose, California; brothers, Marvin Ardoin and wife, Theresa Ardoin, Timothy Ardoin and wife, Karen, and Randy Ardoin, of Virginia; grandchildren, Kameryn Porche, Chance Vilcan and Lucy Vilcan; step-grandchildren, Lindsey Domino Breaux and Kimberly Mayon; and step-great-grandchild, Addison Breaux. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Blanche Theriot Ardoin; and nephew/godchild, Jody Ardoin. Juanita was a parishioner of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She will be missed by her family, her Thibodaux friends and the Red Hat Society Ladies. She will also be sadly missed by her loving Chihuahua, Roscoe, and the family cat, Jezebelle. The family extends their appreciation to Journey Hospice and Thibodaux Regional Cancer Center for helping us through this difficult time.
