Visitation will be Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 5pm - 9pm at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. Monday, June 15, 2015 from 9am - 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Chauvin, LA A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am on Monday, June 15, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Chauvin, LA Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chauvin, LA Survived by: Sons - Joseph Emile Boudreaux, Jr. and companion Dee Montgomery and Nathan Boudreaux and wife Trisha Daughters - Emilie Blanchard and husband Timmy, Josephine Rodrigue and husband Mark and Natalie Robichaux and husband Cary Brother - Hubert Boudreaux, Jr. Sisters- Irma Duplantis and Ramona Breaux 24 grandchildren 47 great grandchildren 3 great great grandchildren Preceded in death by: wife - Alice Thibodeaux Boudreaux Parents - Hubert, Sr. and Irma Boudreaux Daughter - Mary Belanger Brothers - Henry, Druby and Calvin, Sr. Boudreaux Sisters - Elma Boudreaux and Libby Scott Son-in-law - Elgin Lirette, Jr. Great grandson - Joseph Elnahas Emile was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Chauvin, LA. He served with the (Bushmaster) 158th Inf. Combat Team in the Phillipines during WW II. In the 42th General Hospital in Japan. He earned the Combat Infanteryman Badge, APT campaign ribbon with Bronze Star, Phillipine Liberation Campaign Ribbon with Bronze Star, Victory Ribbon, Japan Victory Ribbon and good conduct Medal. He also recieved the Louisiana Honor Medal from Governor Jindal.
