Paul A. Chenier, 67, was born on September 28, 1947 and entered into his 
eternal rest on Tuesday, June 2, 2015.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Thibodaux Funeral Home 
from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at St. Genevieve 
Catholic Church from 9:00 AM until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial 
will take place at 11:00 AM 

with burial to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lynda C. Chenier; children, Paulette C. 
LeBoeuf and husband Lance, Penny C. Borne and husband, Troy, Kevin P. Chenier 
and wife Angela, Keith A. Chenier and wife Gina, and Chris J. Chenier and wife 
Alexis; 11 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, and 1 grandchild to be born and 
named Paul in his honor; sisters, Sandra Thibodaux and Esther Ledet, brother, 
Leonard Chenier, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis J. Chenier, Sr. and Eve Zeller 
Chenier; sister, Lois Cortez, and brothers, Dennis "Jay Boy" Chenier, Jr. and 
Lawrence Chenier.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Chester Boudreaux 
and his nurse, Ginger Addy, Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, Home Health 
Center of Thibodaux, Journey's Hospice, and Houma VA Clinic.

He enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing. 

He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by 
his family and all who knew him.
