Markeith "Dookie" Folse. 36, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Raceland, 
died Monday, June 1, 2015. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time 
Monday, June 8, at St. Paul Baptist Church in Lafourche Crossing. Funeral 
services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, 

with burial in Brooklyn cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife, Ebony Folse; parents, Mary Ann and Nolan Folse Jr.; 
sister, Charlotte Marie Folse; grandfather, Nolan Folse Sr.; stepson, Laron 
Celestine; stepdaughters, Jamyri Coleman and Essence Thomas; and children, 
Markeith Matthews, Markell Folse, Marquise Folse, Javarion Adams, Marquia 
Folse, Markeisha Folse, Markaisha Folse, Markara Matthews, Marlazld Folse and 
Malaya Folse. 

He was preceded in death by his son, Marquan Folse; sister, Ashley Shante 
Folse; and grandparents, Ora Mae Folse, Beatrice Davis and Simon Davis Sr. 

Markeith loved doing barbecue cookouts with family and friends and joyriding. 
He will be sadly missed. 

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
