Louise "Weezie" Johnson Granger, 82, a native of Franklin and a resident of Houma died Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 6:43 p.m.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Greater New Salem Baptist Church located at 818 Lafayette St in Houma, LA with Pastor Harold V Roussell officiating. 

Burial will follow in Crozier Cemetery.

She is survived by four sons, Vorris, Jr. (Karen), Welton (Marion), Anthony (Sherita) and Ivory Granger; two daughters, Betty Granger and Lois Vanburen (Kenneth, Sr.); one sister, Sadie Mae Clay; nineteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vorris Granger Sr.; her parents, Henry Sr. and Mary Steward-Johnson; three brothers Clarence, Willie and Henry Johnson, Jr; and two sisters Margaret Lewis and Mary Nerve.

Jones Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
