Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2015/f1506.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Ray "Papa" LeBlanc, 59, a native of Bayou Blue and resident of Houma, peacefully lost his battle to cancer Thursday, June 25, 2015. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, and 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday, July 1, at Samart Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial in Magnolia Cemetery. He was survived by his wife, Beth Linson LeBlanc; son, Dylan LeBlanc; daughters, Crystal Guillot and husband, Richard, Leah Blanchard and husband, Todd, Devin Deen, Domini Bennett and companion, Tad Usie, and one estranged daughter; brothers, Charles LeBlanc and Nelson LeBlanc and wife, Linda; sisters, Linda Corbitt and husband, Darryll, Marcelline Burney and Gail Hebert; grandchildren, Kaleb, Todd Jr., Justina, Shakeira, Taliyah, Breiyah, Trey, JaeLynne and Zoey; and special friend, Becky Hennety Liner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson J. and Malvin P. LeBlanc; son, Larry Lucas, brother, Paul J. LeBlanc; and sister, Earline Robichaux. Papa enjoyed spending his time fishing and cheering for the Saints. He was a kind, hardworking man who enjoyed his work and his coworkers. He will remain with us always.
