A special thank you to her oldest grand daughter Laine Melancon Billiot for the years of dedicated care to her beloved grandmother. Goldie was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend to the many people she knew and worked with through her many years in her banking career. She worked at Terrebonne Bank, Progressive Bank, Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City and finally at South LA Bank. She loved cooking, gardening and playing scrabble with her family and friends. She was always "feeding" her childrens friends as they were all growing up and her home was always full of teenagers and she enjoyed having them all over at any time. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her and loved her. ======================
