Ella Mae Griffin Schouest, 85, a native and resident of Cut Off passed away 
Friday June 19, 2015. 

Visitation will take place on Monday June 22, 2015 at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home 
in Cut Off from 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm and on Tuesday June 23, 2015 at Christian 
Fellowship Church from 8:00 am till service time. Funeral Services will begin 
at 11:00 am 

with burial following in Cheramie Cemetery.

Mrs. Ella is survived by her children Judy Callais (James), Larry James 
Schouest (Dolly), and Penny St. Pierre (Timmy), 9 grandchildren, 19 great 
grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, brothers Gilbert Griffin, Eldon 
Griffin, Ordoyne Griffin, and sister Rosemary Cheramie.

Mrs. Schouest was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence "dodo" Schouest, 
parents Armand and Linda C. Griffin, brother Albert Griffin, and sister 
Ambrosina "Boy" Toups.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 259, and was a kind and 
helpful person who was very dedicated and active in her Church and community.
