Visitation will held on Monday July 13, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic from 9:00 am till service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with burial following in Sacred Heart Catholic church cemetery. He is survived by his friend of 10 years Winnie Chancey; his son, Wilbert Adams Jr. and wife Shelley; their children Lorie Beal and husband Corey; Michael Adams; Rebecca Comeaux and husband Mark; Montana Adams and their grandchildren Gage, Parker, Hudson Beal, Katie, Jessie Adams, Gavin, and Drew Comeaux; daughter, Susan Adams; her children Wayne Cheramie Jr.; Rayda Cheramie and her grandchildren Rene' and Layne Cheramie; daughter, Jeanie Terrebonne and husband Toby; their children Kayla Steele and husband Bradley; Bradley Terrebonne and wife Kimberly; Joshua Terrebonne and their grandchildren Cole, Blaise Steele, Bailey Orgeron and Kinsley Terrebonne; son, Ray Adams Sr. and wife Penny; their children Ray Adams, Jr. and wife Jill; Whitney Adams and Brandy Adams; son, Kirby Adams and wife Lisa; their children Kiley Adams; Kalin Adams; David Foret; Devin Farley; daughter, Crystal Borne and husband Edward Jr.; their children Edward Borne Ill; Cody Borne; sister, Shirley Anderson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Arthenese Adams; parents, Ecton and Cesla Adams; brother, Wilton Adams; and grandson Dusty Richardel. Wilbert worked in the oil industry most of his adult life providing a good life for his family. Gardening and sharing his yield with his family and friends was a hobby he enjoyed. Wilbert was fun-loving and danced his way across many a dance floor. He was loved and will be missed by his family and Winnie's family.
