Harry Joseph' Nook' Authement Sr., 89, died Monday, July 27, 2015.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Chauvin, LA.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until service 
time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, 
July 30, 2015 at 1100 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.

Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Chauvin.

He is survived by his
sons, Harry Jr.’Sally’ Authement and Tommy Authement
daughter, Marbeliene ‘Michael’ Marie
step-son, Magnus Domangue, Jr.
step-daughter, Peggy ‘Ernest’ Boudreaux
brothers, Eugene and Willard Authement
sisters, Viona ‘Nolan’ Lapeyrouse and Bridget LeBouef
nine grandchildren,
seven great-grandchildren,
fifteen step-grandchildren,
twenty-nine step- great-grandchildren,
two step- great-great-grandchildren and
numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his
parents, Evest and Emily Trahan Authement,
wife, Violet Picou Authement,
daughters, Susan Sevin Authement and Peggy Authement,
step-son, Hayden Scott,
brothers, Felton, Magnus, Andrew, Harvey and Herman Authement,
sisters, Aggie Picou, Leona Martin and Egnolia Dupre.

Harry was a retired ‘shrimper’ fisherman and trapper.

He was a member of Tri-Community Fellowship Church in Chauvin.
