U.S. Veteran Nathan Paul Barnhill, 70, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 11:35 
AM.
He was a native of Cottonport, LA and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 from 8:00am to 11:00am at 
Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.
Liturgy of the Word will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 11:00am at 
Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.

Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.

He is survived by his,
Spouse: Elvira V. Barnhill,
Son: Ryan Barnhill and wife Anne,
Daughters: Shanie Evans and husband Maurice and
Heather Verret and husband Tracy,
Brother: Wilfred Barnhill,
Sister: Marian Barnhill, and
Grandchildren: Preston Barnhill and Cooper Barnhill,

He was preceded in death by his,
Parents: James Allen Barnhill and Nelva Saucier Barnhill,
Brothers: Michael Barnhill and James Barnhill,
Sisters: Gail Picou and Sheryl Marcel.

He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.

He was an avid fisherman and trawler who loved hunting, golfing, and spending 
time with his grandsons.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be sadly missed by 
all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the American 
Cancer Society.
