He was a native of Houma and resident of Dulac, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 9:00 AM until funeral time at Holy Family Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial: Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his sons, Travis David Bergeron and wife, Amy, and Trever James Bergeron and fiance’, Tonya Edler; brothers, Carroll Bergeron and wife, Carol Ann, and Fr. Paul Bergeron; grandchildren, Layla, Bryson, Makayla and Anthony Bergeron; great grandson, Rodgers "The Rock" Bergeron. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Hedy Patricia Lirette Bergeron; parents, Clarence Paul Sr. and Viola Lirette Bergeron; brother, Joel Bergeron. He was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. He served in the US Army and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW. He was the Owner/Operator of Dave's Meat Market in Dulac. He enjoyed carving ducks and gardening. He was a founding member of the Big Rock Brothers. US Army ======================
