Constance “Connie” Dawson Bourg, 68, a native of Thomas, West Virginia, and 
resident of Thibodaux, departed her earthly home, a free spirit, Wednesday, 
July 8, 2015.

There will be no services per Connie’s wishes.

She was the devoted and beloved wife of Ronald “Ronnie” Bourg; children, 
Melissa “Missy” Hebert and Ronald “Jamie” Bourg (Tina); sister, Cathy Betemps; 
brother, Steven Dawson; along with a host of grandchildren and great 
grandchildren, who she leaves to celebrate her life well-lived.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Dawson and Doris Blanchard; 
along with two brothers, Ray and Michael Dawson.

Heartfelt thanks goes out to all the doctors and heart transplant specialists, 
nurses and caregivers who encouraged Connie as she went through her hope-filled 
journey.

A wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Connie leaves memories like 
cherished pieces of confection to fill their hearts as she filled their lives 
with love and family.

Landry’s Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements
