Robert Joseph Deroche, 79, a native of Montegut and resident of Bourg, died 
Wednesday, July 22, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, July 25, at Holy 
Rosary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, 
July 25, at the church, 

with burial in Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Shirley Pitre Deroche; loyal pet, 
Scotty Paul; sons, Mark Deroche and wife, Michelle Naquin Deroche, and Donnie 
Deroche; daughters, Debra Lirette and husband, Leonard Lirette and Cheryl Suire 
and husband, Kerry Suire; grandchildren, Jeremy Deroche, Jamie Deroche, Ty 
Deroche and Danielle Deroche, Sean Lirette and Alex Lirette, and Casey Suire 
and Jessi Suire; and great-grandchildren, Chelsea Deroche and Dylan Deroche, 
Alissa Guidry, and Jacob Burgess and Austin Burgess. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Deroche and Cecile Naquin 
Deroche; brothers, Herbert Deroche, Carlton Deroche, Leroy Deroche and Alton 
Deroche; and sisters, Christine Deroche Rankin, Betty Deroche Dupre and Leona 
Levron. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
