She was a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 9:00 AM until funeral time at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Russell Arthur DiSalvo, Sr.; sons, Russell A. DiSalvo, Jr. and wife, Kay, Michael J. DiSalvo and wife, Lisa, John C. DiSalvo and wife, Nicole, David W. DiSalvo and wife, Jessica, and Anthony S. DiSalvo and wife, Megan; daughters, Lisa DiSalvo Hurst and husband, Jody, and Denise DiSalvo Dupre and husband, Terry Sr.; brothers, Melvin Willig and companion, Rose Sanchez, Mervin Willig, and Donald Willig and wife, Jackie; sister,Elaine June Willig; grandchildren, Nicole DiSalvo, Russell A. DiSalvo III, Danielle Kimble, Gabrielle Kimble, Terry Dupre Jr., Matthew Dupre, Seth Michael DiSalvo, Jonathon DiSalvo, Ryan DiSalvo, Bennett DiSalvo, Mary Grace DiSalvo, Brittney Falgout, Ryan Hurst, Megan Hurst, Katelyn Hurst; great- grandson, Cohen DiSalvo. She was preceded in death by her parents,John Bennett, Jr. and Ethel Amelia Maltry Willig; sister, Ethel Willig Cannata and husband, John Sr.; in-laws, Salvatore and Marie DiSalvo; sisters-in-law, Patricia Willig and Joan Willig. She was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. She was the owner/operator of Quality Office Supply, Inc. together with her husband Russell for 38 years. She enjoyed bowling and going to the casino. She was known as "Maw D" by her grandchildren. Edna loved to be with her family.
