Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2015/f1507.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Miriam Golden Aycock Gaspard, 90, native of Norris, Mississippi, and a resident of Thibodaux was called home on Sunday, July 5, 2015. She was born May 14, 1925. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Thursday, July 9, at Landry’s Funeral Home in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux, with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Larose. She is survived by her son, Richard Aycock and wife, Peggy; daughters, Janie D’Anna and husband, Tony, and Suzanne Cheramie and husband, Todd; grandchildren, Kelly Casey, Chris Casey, Robert, Casey, Robin Moon, Kyle Aycock, Shannon Hunt, Emily Edwards, Gina Noel, Jason D’Anna, Andrea D’Anna and Matthew Carson; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Courtney Aycock; infant son, Charles Aycock; second husband, Lawrence Gaspard; parents, Charlie and Addie Gatewood Golden; and sister, Hilda Sheneman. Miriam was a parishioner of St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. She was a member of the Newcomers Club of Thibodaux, the DAR and a longtime member of the Larose VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, cooking, reading, fishing and sharing her faith with others. She will be sadly missed. Landry’s Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements. ======================
