She was a native of Everly, IA and resident of Gibson, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc and Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 9:00 AM until funeral time at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held in Bayou Black Cemetery. She is survived by her, sons, Michael L. Giroir and wife, Paula, Lynn F. Giroir and wife, Diane, and Jerry P. Giroir and wife, Elaine; daughters, Corrine G. Antill, Theresa G. Webre and husband, Richard "Dicky", and Valerie G. Lucque; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her, husband of 68 years, Aubrey “Jerry” McLloyd Giroir; parents, Frank and Belle Fanning Myers; sisters, Lola Trojan and Vivian Delhaye; great grandson, Caleb Candies. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, crocheting, watching baseball and football. She was a member of the American Legion, and St. Anthony ladies alter society. She loved family gatherings. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all. ======================
