Joseph A. Hartman, 97, a native and resident of Lockport, passed away Tuesday, 
July 14, 2015.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday, July 17, at Holy 
Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 
a.m. Friday at the church, 

with burial in Holy Savior Catholic Church cemetery in Lockport.

He is survived by his companion, Gloria Guidry; sons, Clyde Hartman and wife, 
Trudy, and Gerald Hartman; daughters, Emma Lee Savoie and husband, Russell, and 
Anne Robichaux and husband, Paul; brother, Bud Hartman and wife, Miriam; 12 
grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rowena LeBlanc Hartman; daughter-in-law, 
Janice Adams Hartman; parents, Joseph J. Hartman and Bertha Hartman; brothers, 
Louis and Fortuna Hartman; sisters, Rita Walker, Henrietta Ledet and Marie 
Hebert; and grandchildren, Dwayne Hartman and Mitchell Savoie.

Joseph was the owner of Hartman Ag Service in Lockport.
